What You Can Expect

  1. CELEBRATION WORSHIP - 9:00am
    EXPERIENCE WORSHIP - 11:00am[+]

    What happens during the services?

These services consist of songs of worship and praise, our Key Bible Passage of the day, the Apostle's Creed, Prayers of the People, the Lord's Prayer, Confession & Forgiveness, an offering, the Lord's Supper, and a message from the pastor. Other elements that are included: a Celebration Choir anthem, a kids choir performance, or baptisms.

What's different about 'Experience Worship' at 11:00am?
During the 11am service, some more time is spent singing songs of worship, and various elements of worship that are experiential & interactive are included.

Also, beginning March 25, 2012, we will begin a Children's Church option. At the beginning the message, children will be invited to go to our fellowship hall for a special lesson or craft... PreK - 4th grade.

    What About Music?
The music is typically led by one of our 4 worship teams. The teams consist of several vocalists, guitar, piano, keyboards, bass guitar, drums, winds, etc.

We use new worship songs by modern hymn writers like Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Paul Baloche, Kathryn Scott, Tim Hughes, and many more. We use some of our favorite hymns and arrange them in our modern style... hymns like Praise to the Lord, the Almighty; The Church's One Foundation; Fill Me Now; Come Thou Fount of Ev'ry Blessing; Be Thou My Vision; Holy, Holy, Holy; Beautiful Savior; It Is Well WIth My Soul; The Solid Rock... and more.

The words to the songs are projected onto a large screen. In addition, the words of the key Bible passage, the Creed, and the Lord's Prayer are also presented on the screen.

    What About Communion?
We celebrate the Lord's Supper every Sunday using continuous table at 4 stations. Wine is used, but white grape juice is available in the center of the tray for those who prefer its use.

    What About the Sermon/Message?
The Pastor's messages are outlined on the screen using presentation software. There is space in the program bulletin for taking notes. We are also posting messages online on our YouTube channel for folks who are unable to attend.
Pastor closes the service with a blessing and a closing song is sung.

    Anything Else?
Families with young children are always welcome in our services, we have special activity bags and bulletins available for the kiddos.
There is also a room in the back of the sanctuary, accessible through the lobby, for parents with children who need to make a little extra noise (a.k.a. Cry Room).
Worshippers are encouraged to fellowship after the service, we have donuts and coffee in the Fellowship Hall.

  2. TRADITIONAL WORSHIP - 10:30am[+]
This service takes place in the Chapel, and honors our deep heritage by following the traditional Lutheran liturgy found in the Lutheran Worship Hymnal. Wonderful hymns are sung, and the songs are led by a pianist. Holy communion is celebrated weekly.
  3. SUNDAY SCHOOL[+]
    Children
Sunday school is offered at the 9:00am worship service on Sunday Mornings. Children from age three through sixth grade attend age-appropriate classes with dedicated and caring teachers. Both a school year and summer Sunday School are offered with the exception of August. August is Family Worship Month. More Info.

    Youth
Youth Ministry offers age appropriate and relevant Bible studies for junior and senior high youth every Sunday morning from 9:00am-10:00am. Students in grades 7-8 meet for Bible study in North Campus 2. Students in grades 9-12 meet for Bible study in East Campus.
